The position ensures task order compliance, acts as a liaison for the Foreign Object Damage (FOD) program with DCMA, and guarantees zero safety-of-flight defects escape detection. The role also directs investigations of significant aircraft incidents, performs First-Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards, and establishes key quality metrics for continuous improvement.
