As a Program Quality Engineer, you will be the quality lead for assigned programs, helping ensure products meet customer, regulatory, contractual, and internal quality requirements from development through delivery. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers to deliver highly reliable products while driving continuous improvement and quality excellence.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail – required
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements – required
- Experience managing nonconforming material and corrective actions – required
- Experience reviewing technical documentation and customer deliverables – required
- Quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related experience (3+ years) – required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field – required
- Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Aerospace, defense, semiconductor, microelectronics, optics, or other high-reliability manufacturing experience – preferred
- AS9100 Quality Management System experience – preferred
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary quality representative for assigned programs and customers.
- Review customer and contractual quality requirements and ensure compliance throughout program execution.
- Support customer meetings, program reviews, inspections, and readiness activities.
- Prepare and review customer quality deliverables, including End Item Data Packages, Certificates of Conformance, First Article Inspection documentation, and acceptance records.
- Manage nonconforming material and participate in Material Review Board activities.
- Lead or support root cause investigations and corrective action efforts.
- Analyze quality data and identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Support internal, customer, and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, compliance, and manufacturing performance.
