About The Position

BAE Systems Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area is seeking a Program Quality Engineer in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) Product Line. This role supports a fast-paced EMD Program transitioning to high-volume production. The engineer will provide technical and Quality Assurance expertise, fostering a “Quality First” culture within the ACES Product Line. Responsibilities include overseeing Quality efforts across engineering development, manufacturing and production, supply chain, and program execution. The role involves interfacing with end customers to support audits, product acceptance, and program requirements, ensuring alignment and compliance. Additionally, the Program Quality Engineer will act as the Quality stakeholder for Program Lifecycle Management (LCM) reviews, design reviews, Configuration Control Board (CCB), and APQP/AS9145 activities, driving adherence to requirements and best practices. The position also requires leading timely and effective root cause and corrective Actions (RCCA) investigations, managing Material Review Board (MRB) activities and disposition of nonconformances, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4+ years of experience or 6-8+ years of engineering/technical experience in lieu of degree
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Must be able to obtain SAP / SAR clearance
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and customers, and partner communities
  • Be a visible, influential engineer collaborates effectively, remains approachable, and can diffuse high-tension situations collaborative approach with others and comes across as approachable; can diffuse high-tension situations
  • Experience with/or knowledge of root cause and corrective action (RCCA) methodologies
