About The Position

Concorde Education is seeking a full-time Program Quality Coordinator to support educational enrichment programs across Visalia Unified School District. This role focuses on maintaining strong program quality through campus visits, instructor observations, data collection, reporting, school-site communication, materials support, and follow-up on program improvement needs. The Program Quality Coordinator will work directly with Concorde’s Program Coordinator and will serve as a school-facing support person for instructors, school staff, and district partners. This is a hybrid role, with remote administrative responsibilities during designated morning hours and required on-campus presence during after-school programming and other program-related times as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 60 completed college credit hours.
  • Experience working with school-age students, after-school programs, youth programs, tutoring, enrichment, classroom support, or a similar setting.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to observe programs objectively and document clear, useful feedback.
  • Comfort working directly with instructors, school staff, and district personnel.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to the Program Coordinator.
  • Reliable transportation for travel to school sites.
  • Availability to work during after-school program hours and other required dates or times as assigned.
  • Ability to complete all required background checks, fingerprinting, school-site clearances, and district requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an instructor, tutor, paraprofessional, after-school staff member, site assistant, youth program leader, or education program support staff.
  • Familiarity with enrichment programming, student engagement strategies, or classroom management.
  • Comfort stepping into instructional settings when emergency substitute coverage is needed.
  • Interest in growing into education operations, program coordination, school partnerships, or instructional quality support.

Responsibilities

  • Visit assigned school campuses to observe Concorde programs during after-school activities and other scheduled program times.
  • Observe instructor preparedness, student engagement, classroom environment, pacing, materials readiness, and overall program quality.
  • Collect observation notes, program data, attendance-related information, and school-site feedback.
  • Report observations, concerns, trends, and recommendations to the Program Coordinator.
  • Assist with follow-up observations and improvement plans when program quality concerns are identified.
  • Support instructors with materials, logistics, student transitions, classroom routines, and site-specific expectations.
  • Assist with the organization, delivery, distribution, and tracking of program supplies and materials.
  • Serve as emergency substitute coverage when directed and when no other qualified substitute can be secured.
  • Maintain professional communication with school administrators, site directors, district staff, instructors, and Concorde team members.
  • Attend school or district meetings when requested.
  • Maintain a weekly calendar of planned site visits, observations, meetings, and follow-up responsibilities.
  • Remain accessible and responsive during scheduled remote work periods.
  • Complete other administrative, operational, and program support tasks as assigned.
