About The Position

This role serves as the Single Point of Contact for Engineering for Pilot Materials management. The position supports PG shipments of unreleased material to customer sites, ensuring all purchase parts have met release criteria before being shipped to external customers. The individual will participate in program CFT reviews to present status and mitigation for high-risk parts and gather information on upcoming design changes. This role also supports material availability for engineering changes, including understanding potential rework needs for Pilot MFG stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing reservation demands in Engineering Stockroom locations, facilitating material transfers between Engineering Stockroom and Production Warehouse locations, and creating/managing an Engineering Material dashboard to identify, track, and communicate value to DPG. The role also involves creating and executing CIP plans to support organizational goals and creating and maintaining product group specific materials management metrics.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Read, compare and interpret Product BOM.
  • Balance strong emphasis on customer service and support while enforcing business process controls.
  • Strong communication skillset with ability to concisely share verbal & written updates, tailored for broad range of audiences from Manufacturing to Engineering Executive Management.
  • Demonstrate root-cause determination and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to operate independent of day-to-day supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex data with outstanding detail orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent experience in Purchasing / Supply Chain, Planning, Operations or Manufacturing or relevant fields are preferred with 5 years of experience, or Master's with 3 years of experience.
  • Ability to read, interpret and compare mechanical, electrical and assembly drawings is preferred.
  • Semiconductor industry and global supplier experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
