The Payload Launch Sites Support Services (PLSSS) Program within SSC provides all the launch processing support functions for the Office of Space Launch (OSL). One of the program’s two primary operating locations is Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. Key elements of the PLSSS program scope include satellite launch processing, satellite transport operations, satellite propellant loading operations, clean room operations, satellite processing and support facilities O&M, and safety and environmental services. The O&M Scheduler position is responsible for the coordination of facility sustainment, project, and preventative maintenance.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or combined experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Must be a U.S Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain as TS/SCI w/ Poly security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Exposure to Network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc.).
  • 1-2 years or experience in a planning or program management related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and brief 3-day and 14-day facility maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct daily schedule meetings to brief the status of maintenance and mission activities.
  • Coordinate/schedule periodic preventative maintenance, annual inspections, and projects.
  • Interface with engineering, technician, mission partners, and procurement departments.
  • Ensure work order logs are completed and the schedule(s) is updated.
  • Print and track all WO documents through the lifecycle of the project/maintenance activity.
  • Deconflict maintenance activities with other launch base or program operations to ensure mission success.
  • Serve as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility to program management and customer stake holders.
