About The Position

CRJ is seeking compassionate and dependable Community Corrections Workers (Program Monitors) to join their growing team and support the individuals they serve. This is an entry-level, part-time position, working 32 hours per week in Boston, MA. The role is eligible for benefits and offers an hourly rate starting at $18-$20/hr with a shift differential. CRJ provides valuable training for career advancement and professional development.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Must complete background check.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
1-2 years of security experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform general reception duties, including signing residents in and out, taking calls, greeting and signing in visitors, and performing telephone spot checks.
Enter documentation into SecurManage and sort/distribute mail.
Conduct scheduled house rounds for life and safety checks.
Perform nightly bed checks, bag, pat, and room searches.
Monitor resident daily details and enter documentation in SecurManage.
Collect urine samples per schedule and complete associated documentation.
Administer alco-sensor tests and enter documentation in SecurManage.
Serve as a pro-social role model to residents, supporting their behavior change, conveying information effectively, and responding to resident concerns, needs, and complaints.
Attend required training and staff meetings.
Perform other job-related projects and activities as requested or directed.
