About The Position

CRJ wants you to join our growing team of compassionate and dependable Community Corrections Workers (Program Monitors) to support the wonderful individuals we serve! This is an entry-level, full-time, 40-hrs/week, non-exempt position that will be working in our Boston, MA location. This position is eligible for benefits and has an hourly rate starting at $18/hr. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Must complete background check.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
1-2 years of security experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform general reception duties, including signing residents in and out, taking calls, greeting and signing in visitors, and performing telephone spot checks.
Enter documentation in SecurManage and sort/distribute mail.
Conduct scheduled house rounds, including life and safety checks, and perform nightly bed checks.
Perform bag, pat, and room searches, and monitor resident daily details.
Take urine samples per schedule and complete documentation, and administer alco-sensor tests.
Serve as a pro-social role model to residents to support their behavior change, and to effectively convey information and respond to resident concerns, needs, and complaints.
Attend training and staff meetings as required.
Perform other job-related projects and activities as requested or directed.
