About The Position

The Quality Assurance Analyst leads program monitoring initiatives that support organizational compliance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. This role is responsible for conducting internal audits and systematic reviews to assess compliance with funding deliverables, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and applicable programmatic, organizational, and operational standards. Working collaboratively with program leadership, PII’s Director of Contract Compliance, the Data Manager, and other key stakeholders, the Quality Assurance Analyst conducts data-driven evaluations, documentation reviews, and policy alignment efforts to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. The role supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of corrective action plans to ensure audit readiness, strong data integrity and reporting practices, operational effectiveness, and compliance with funder and regulatory expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Data Analytics, Quality Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in quality assurance, compliance standards, program monitoring, or program evaluation within nonprofit or government-funded environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management or reporting systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation and reports.
  • Ability to translate complex regulations into actionable processes
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with OMH, DOHMH, DYCD DFTA, and HUD-funded programs, government contract compliance, privacy regulations, and performance evaluation frameworks.
  • Professional certifications in quality assurance or process improvement, such as Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt).

Responsibilities

  • Support performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives related to programs’ funding sources
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality data collection systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting for program planning, evaluation, and compliance purposes.
  • Monitor contract goals, outcomes, and performance indicators to ensure programs meet required deliverables; provide recommendations for corrective actions and performance improvements as needed
  • Participate in funder-required compliance meetings, audits, and site visits.
  • Collaborate with program management to complete funder related Evaluation Surveys, Corrective Action Plans, and Annual Performance Reviews (APRs) to maintain funding eligibility
  • Serve as Privacy Officer, ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of newly promulgated, modified, and existing rules, regulations, protocols, and manuals; communicate relevant updates to directors and managers.
  • Assist in interpreting regulatory and contractual requirements and provide guidance to service directors and program staff.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop, revise, and assess internal management systems, tools, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational, agency, and regulatory standards.
  • Support the development and revision of policies in response to changes in City, State, and Federal regulations.
  • Track and monitor the completion of corrective action plans and implementation of recommendations resulting from audits, monitoring reviews, or special compliance meetings
