As a Program Manager I within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL or Phoenix, AZ. We are seeking a Program Manager I to support our AML and Fraud portfolio. This role drives cross-functional execution and strategic planning, ensuring compliant delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business outcomes. You will partner closely with stakeholder to deliver scalable, audit-ready solutions. Job Description Leads a cross functional program/project team to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Leads programs/projects requiring planning and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business. Typically, program size may reach or exceed $10m. Assists with or manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals. Monitors the program budget while working to ensure success of the program. Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results. Teams with service partners to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels. Nice To Haves

  • Program/project management experience delivering cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience in technology and/or banking/financial services environments
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic roadmaps, dependencies, budgets, and timelines.

  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors or managed services related to KYC onboarding.
  • Background collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Ops to translate requirements into deliverables.
  • Certifications: PMP, SAFe (e.g., SAFe Agilist/POPM), and ITIL preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery across discovery, requirements, implementation, change management, and stabilization.
  • Establish program governance (cadence, artifacts, issue/risk logs, dependency mapping, decision tracking).
  • Drive clear, consistent communication with stakeholders at all levels (product, tech, operations, compliance, audit).
  • Produce status reports, dashboards, and executive readouts highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and budget/benefits.
  • Ensure alignment with AML/KYC regulatory expectations, internal policies and controls, and audit requirements.
  • Partner with Compliance/Risk to track control design, testing readiness, and remediation of issues and findings.
  • Coordinate UAT, operational readiness, SOP updates, training plans, and change adoption.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement leveraging Agile/SAFe practices and ITIL service transition where applicable.
  • Define and monitor program KPIs (e.g., KYC cycle time, hit rates, review SLAs, false positive reduction, control effectiveness).
  • Use data to inform prioritization, quantify impact, and communicate outcomes.
