We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead the governance and tracking of all our Microsoft initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our projects are executed with high efficiency, meeting our strategic objectives and delivering exceptional business outcomes. The Program Manager will be at the forefront of driving prioritization, execution and continuous improvement across our teams and projects, serving as a critical bridge between the product team, the development team and the business world.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project and program management, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in working with software development teams using agile methodologies (i.e., Scrum).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance and project success.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English; French proficiency is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to translate between technical and business languages, and presenting to Senior Management teams and Executives.
  • Experience in applying a data-driven mindset to decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate the elaboration of solutions to achieve business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in risk and dependency management and reporting on project status and KPIs.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment, bridging technical and business worlds.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project/program management certification is an asset.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English; French proficiency is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Execution & Prioritization: Identify and focus on major opportunities and deliverables, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve strategic goals.
  • Performance Monitoring: Maintain continuous intimacy with team performance levels, utilizing a data-driven approach to monitor KPIs, deliverables, deadlines, quality and more.
  • Solution Facilitation: Promote and facilitate the development of diverse solutions with project teams to achieve desired business outcomes, improving capacity, productivity and predictability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders (including Executives, VPs, Directors, Product Owners, Business Analysts, etc.) to align on desired business outcomes and understand constraints.
  • Bridging Product, Development and Business: Act as a critical link between the product team, the development teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and communication. Translate technical details into business language and vice versa, facilitating effective decision-making and alignment on project objectives.
  • Reporting & Communication: Report on the status, progress and key performance indicators of initiatives, ensuring clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Dependency & Risk Management: Identify and communicate dependencies and risks associated with initiatives, ensuring they are managed, understood and mitigated effectively.
  • Initiative Coordination: Assist with the coordination, management and execution of key initiatives as required, adopting a mobilizing and business outcome-centric approach.
