About The Position

BAE Systems’ Countermeasures & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area is looking for a highly motivated Program Manager in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) Product Line. This role is to manage a large program of development and production projects as the lead program manager. Key expectations of this role include: Plans, manages, coordinates, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes transition expectation for large, classified development programs for successful production launch. Effectively coordinate with program management, engineering, quality and operations leaders to achieve financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience leading technical and program teams through all phases of the lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated program management skills in complex development and production programs, with the ability to tailor processes to accelerate delivery.
  • Experience working in all aspects of Lifecycle Management Phases.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, with strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills to achieve results through others.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage interdependent contracts and ensure projects stay on track and aligned with goals.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and execute a strategic vision, as well as convey complex program information to both program teams and executive leadership.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and manage budgets effectively.
  • Extensive experience in managing and overseeing subcontractor relationships.
  • In-depth experience in identifying and mitigating Risks and Opportunities (R&O) to drive project success.
  • Ability to develop a 5-year vision for the product and drive project success through dynamic scope management.
  • Active secret clearance and ability to obtain SAP/SAR clearance
  • Familiarity with defense or aerospace industry standards and regulations.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
