About The Position

The Program Manager will perform specific, routine project or technical tasks within a defined scope of management responsibility, including project/technical management for assigned subsystems. This role requires applying and correlating knowledge across engineering, logistics, and financial management to ensure project execution meets cost, schedule, and performance requirements. Key responsibilities include developing and recommending project plans, budgeting positions, and execution strategies, as well as assisting in the conversion of customer or product/technical requirements into solutions while acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints and identifying associated risks. The Program Manager will also provide status and decision information to higher management, ensure contractual needs are addressed, submit timely and accurate reports/deliverables, participate in company program reviews, communicate cost, schedule, and performance with management, and provide guidance/solutions as necessary. Additionally, the role involves interpreting engineering technical data packages related to Bill of Material (iBOM) and manufacturing processes for metal, composite, and wire harnesses, and coordinating workflow with supply chain, production teams, outside vendors, and logistic managers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical, business, or related field required
  • 5+ years of Program Management or associated experience with Government or Industry
  • Familiarity with packaging, kit and shipping MIL-STDs required
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Active US issued clearance level Secret or higher required

Nice To Haves

  • Department of Defense Acquisition (DAU) PM certification, PMP, or degree in Program Management or equivalent is highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Perform project/technical management for assigned subsystem(s)
  • Apply and correlate knowledge across disciplines (engineering, logistics, and financial management) to achieve project execution in accordance with assigned cost, schedule & performance requirements
  • Develop and recommend project plans, budgeting positions, and execution strategy
  • Assist in the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product/technical requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints; identify associated risks
  • Provide higher management with status and decision information on project issues
  • Ensure contractual needs/concerns are addressed
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all report/deliverables
  • Participate in company program reviews
  • Communicate cost, schedule, and performance with management
  • Provide guidance/solutions as necessary
  • Interpret engineering technical data package related to indentured Bill of Material (iBOM) and the manufacturing of metal, composite and wire harnesses
  • Coordinate workflow with supply chain, production teams, outside vendors and logistic manager to ensure on time deliveries
  • Other duties as assigned
