Program Manager - LMFT/LPCC/LCSW

Program: The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting with a stay of up to 23 hours. Population Served: All age groups – children, adolescents, adults, and older adults – who need immediate access to crisis mental health services. Facility & Setting: The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is voluntary and offered on a 24/7 basis in an unlocked setting. Clinical Services: Rapid mental health assessment and crisis intervention, the center provides important services to those in need of immediate crisis intervention and stabilization. Length of Stay: stay of up to 23 hours. Skills & Transition: Individuals admitted into the crisis stabilization unit will be provided with support and services to ensure their safe transition to the next level of care or back to the community.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Valid California Nursing License (LVN, LPT, RN, NP) required
- Valid California Driver’s License.
- First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
- Two (2) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting.
- Must have attained the age of 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- California Registered Intern Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage, Family and Child Counselor (LMFT) preferred.
Responsibilities
- This position has primary responsibility for implementing, directing, and supervising the Recovery Counselors, Peer Counselors, Household Coaches and Resource Specialists who provide case management, counseling, and rehabilitation and activity groups.
- Supports Clinical Supervisor, as needed.
- The Program Manager shall be on the premises the number of hours necessary to manage and administer the program component of the facility in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- The Program Manager shall continue operations and carry out Administrator responsibilities during any absence of the Administrator.
