About The Position

Riverside Research is seeking a Program Manager to support the Government Radar Program Office at Peterson SFB, CO. This position provides day‑to‑day programmatic, contractual, financial, and technical support to the program in close coordination with the US Government customer agencies, radar engineering teams, and Riverside Research corporate leadership. The Program Manager ensures Riverside Research’s program and business development commitments are met and that the Government Program Office receives timely, accurate, and mission‑focused support across all program areas.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 years related experience with a bachelor’s degree, a PhD with 5 years of experience, or equivalent work experience is typically required for an employee at this level, and 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience supporting government program offices, ideally in radar, sensor systems, or large‑scale engineering programs.
  • Understanding of radar system fundamentals, sustainment lifecycles, and engineering workflows (experience with radar systems on the scale of COBRA DANE strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in program management, contract execution, financial oversight, and customer engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic government program environment.
  • Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Government Program Office with planning, execution, tracking, and coordination of COBRA DANE sustainment and modernization activities, as well as modernization support to other Ground Based Radars in the Government’s portfolio
  • Maintain schedules, risk registers, milestones, and action items while ensuring alignment with government priorities and timelines.
  • Prepare program status updates, briefing materials, and decision papers for internal and customer use.
  • Coordinate with technical leads to gather radar system data, track maintenance/upgrade activities, and summarize technical performance for government stakeholders.
  • Support execution of Riverside Research’s contract obligations including deliverable compilation and tracking, compliance monitoring, subcontractor coordination, and documentation accuracy.
  • Monitor funding status, develop forecasts, track burn rates, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions when required.
  • Assist in developing inputs for contract modifications, proposals, and resource planning activities.
  • Serve as a primary Riverside Research interface with the Government Program Office, maintaining transparent, collaborative, and responsive communication.
  • Ensure Riverside Research personnel are supported, aligned, and equipped to meet government expectations.
  • Maintain close and collaborative working relationship with the radar Operations, Maintenance and Sustainment (OM&S) contractor and extended Government mission stakeholder community.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, task assignment, and overall workforce engagement for Riverside Research employees on the program.
  • Help maintain a positive, mission‑focused program culture and address personnel issues in coordination with Riverside Research leadership.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of COBRA DANE radar operations, sustainment requirements, system health and performance monitoring, and planned enhancements.
  • Support translation of technical information between radar engineers, government customers and mission stakeholders, and Riverside Research leadership.
  • Assist the customer in coordinating technical interchange meetings, system assessments, test activities, and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for Riverside Research to expand its value and support footprint within the radar mission area.
  • Lead white papers, capture activities, staffing strategies, and proposal development aligned with government needs and mission gaps.
  • Maintain strong situational awareness of customer priorities, long‑term plans, and emerging requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and actively manage a business development pipeline that aligns Riverside Research capabilities with emerging Government Program Office needs, identifying new opportunities, shaping future work, and expanding your program portfolio.
