Administers financial, facilities, and operational activities for a small- to mid-sized STEM internship and associated program. Oversees major program components, including curriculum coordination, lab skills training, learning management systems, sponsor compliance, marketing, recruitment, onboarding, and university operational requirements. Plans and executes conferences, workshops, and other public-facing events. Facilitates placement of internships across clinical, laboratory, and research administrative settings. Works in partnership with the program leadership team to shape program strategy, develop funding opportunities, and sustain a high-impact, nationally competitive internship program. Involves managing a STEM internship and associated program. Formulates curriculum, marketing, strategies, and goals for program. Assists with administration of program budget and other related resources. Designs and runs a lab skills workshop. Organizes a CIRM SPARK Conference. Assists with development and submission of federal and non-federal grants to generate revenue for program. Experienced professional who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field; independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; possesses broad job knowledge; analyzes problems / issues of diverse scope and determines solutions.
