About The Position

The Program Manager will lead and oversee critical technology development and deployment projects. This role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills to ensure successful execution of programs from inception to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of technical experience in optics related fields (lasers, detectors, optics, or systems)
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, particularly in photonics or sensor technologies, is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Project, Agile, or PMP certification).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high efficiency and productivity.
  • Experience working in an ITAR environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Define program objectives, develop detailed project plans, and manage execution to meet technical and business goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project deliverables.
  • Manage program risks and opportunities by proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business development teams to meet customer and company objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver regular program updates, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
