About The Position

Immediate full-time opening available to fill this critical role at the CCWC Washtenaw Child Advocacy Center. In collaboration with agency leadership, the Program Manager provides daily program oversight and management, and is responsible for implementing policies, procedures, and practices that align with the National Children’s Alliance and certification to serve the long-term sustainability of program services, which include forensic interviewing, victim advocacy, and crisis counseling. Participates in community and agency collaboratives and demonstrates leadership in communication, team building, and problem solving. In collaboration with the agency administration provides quality data and statistics and funding content for grants and funding. This position will be trained and assist in forensic interviewing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or other relevant human services program area.
  • Proven experience in child abuse, victim services and outreach, crisis intervention, and/or the criminal justice system.
  • Certification as required by the State of Michigan, professional organizations, and accrediting bodies if applicable.
  • Valid Michigan driver’s license required.
  • Grant management experience.
  • Team building experience.
  • Leadership and management experience in the areas of social or human services.
  • Proven success leading and building the capacity of a diverse team.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional conflict negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and programmatic policies and procedures.
