About The Position

LCI is seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in mission-critical operations and a proven track record of managing complex IT systems. In this role, you will be partnered with key stakeholders to lead diverse, distributed teams in a high-stakes, 24/7/365 operational environment. Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government Top-Secret security clearance is to be retained in the position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering or Defense studies.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, defense analysis, operational planning and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strategic leadership, resource management, policy development, risk mitigation, and proficiency in M&S tools.
  • Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top-Secret Security Clearance.
  • Program Management of DoD programs.
  • Managing cost, schedule, and performance of large, multi-disciplinary IT Programs inclusive of IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, facilities systems, and program management.
  • Operational experience in managing Information Technology Systems.
  • Experience with Missile warning/tracking, space and missile defense, or battle management systems.
  • Managing multiple subcontractors’ performance.
  • Experience with Missile warning, space and missile defense, C2 systems, 24/7 ops environments, acquisition lifecycle.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as PMP, FAC P/PM or Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive leadership and oversight of contract activities to ensure total accountability, performance accuracy, and resource optimization.
  • Manage integrated quality assurance, safety programs, and security protocols to meet federal regulations and organizational thresholds.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align operational workflows with organizational goals, technical objectives, and mission priorities.
  • Establish integrated governance frameworks and automated systems to enhance process efficiency and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Implement standardized methodologies for the full lifecycle of service and material requests, from initial requirement gathering to final documentation.
  • Maintain centralized systems and service request tools to categorize, prioritize, and track cross-functional task requirements.
  • Direct recruiting, retention, and professional development efforts while managing personnel performance and safety across all sites.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring the secure handling and protection of sensitive or classified information.
  • Deliver regular status reports and program reviews that detail milestones, resource expenditures, and performance against planned goals.
  • Monitor functional performance areas to identify difficulties, resolve critical issues, and implement system upgrades or process modifications.
