AHC Rehabilitation - White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Program Manager for our Inpatient Therapy Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Program Manager, you will deploy and champion PACS technology strategy & clinical innovation. You will develop and implement technology-enabled rehabilitation initiatives that align with patient-centered functional mobility goals, anticipated length of stay, discharge planning needs, and long-term community participation outcomes. You will research and critically evaluate using evidence-based practice principles for emerging rehabilitation technologies (e.g., VR, robotics, AI, wearables) for clinical application and scalability. You will collaborate with frontline clinicians, interdisciplinary teams, operational leaders, and patients to ensure clinical engagement throughout technology evaluation, pilot development, workflow integration, and implementation processes. You will create workflows to embed technology into rehab practices without reducing clinical efficiency or productivity. You will identify and develop partnerships with technology vendors, startups, and academic institutions for innovation and research initiatives. You will lead or support research and outcomes tracking to assess the impact of technology on functional outcomes and patient experience. You will promote a culture of innovation across rehabilitation staff through training, mentorship, and program development. You will design strategies to improve access to rehabilitation technology in the community, supporting long-term independence beyond discharge. You will ensure all rehabilitation technology and innovation initiatives align with organizational compliance, information technology governance, cybersecurity, infection prevention, patient safety, and operational standards. You will develop integrated programs combining Occupational therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Therapeutic recreation, Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Technology-enabled care pathways. You will lead performance improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental program development. You will mentor staff, students, and interdisciplinary partners in both clinical and technology applications. You will assist in building a scalable model for technology-supported rehabilitation across the Post-Acute continuum of care (inpatient → outpatient → home/community). You will evaluate program effectiveness through analysis of functional outcomes, patient experience, staff feedback, and operational metrics to support sustainable therapeutic interventions and community integration through clinical and technology rehabilitation program development. You will deliver Clinical Care and promote community reintegration for patients at the assigned rehab hospital. You will deliver occupation-based, functional-based, and real-world recreational interventions designed to improve participation across home, community, leisure, vocational, and social environments (e.g., community outings, adaptive leisure, life skills training) to improve real-world function. You will plan and implement individualized and group interventions focused on functional independence, community reintegration (transportation, leisure, social participation), adaptive life skills and wellness, and cognitive, physical, and psychosocial performance. You will integrate assistive and adaptive technologies into therapy plans to support independence (e.g., mobility aids, communication devices, environmental controls). You will facilitate community reintegration programming, including community outings, simulated environments, transportation training, adaptive recreation, and technology-supported participation activities aligned with patient-centered goals. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care, goal alignment, discharge preparation, and community integration beyond inpatient rehabilitation. You will educate patients, care providers, and community partners on functional strategies, wellness resources, technology use, and adaptive leisure participation. You will support patient transition beyond discharge through promotion of community resources, wellness engagement, adaptive leisure opportunities, digital access strategies, and technology-enabled self-management tools. You will document all interventions, outcomes, and care coordination activities in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. You will participate in interdisciplinary initiatives that promote patient experience, engagement, independence, and continuity across the post-acute continuum of care. You will deploy and champion PACS technology strategy & clinical innovation and develop and implement technology-enabled rehabilitation initiatives that align with patient-centered functional mobility goals, anticipated length of stay, discharge planning needs, and long-term community participation outcomes.
