About The Position

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Program Manager to support our North America customer programs. This individual will report within the Customer Execution & Programs Office. The Program Manager is responsible for achieving the program's strategy and objectives across multiple business units. You will collaborate closely with the program sponsor, commercial, and project management teams to define goals and develop a plan to accomplish them. You should possess a working knowledge of the technical and organizational environments where the program deliverables exist. Additionally, you must be an excellent communicator at all levels within the organization, proactive, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and be adaptable to a dynamic and potentially geographically dispersed team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science degree
  • 6+ years project/program management experience.
  • Experience in supply chain industry
  • Must have either PMP certification or working knowledge of PMI methodologies
  • Must have Six Sigma or process experience
  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Possess strong communications skills, verbal and written
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, resource plans and budget commitments reflected in the Program Management Plan.
  • Lead the program team in developing and managing the program management plan within the constraints established and approved by the project sponsor.
  • Implement and enforce change control over program scope, schedule, resources and budget.
  • Negotiate with functional managers and/or organizational management to obtain adequate resources with appropriate skills to staff the program team.
  • Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project team’s scope of responsibility.
  • Continually identify and proactively manage risks & issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure.
  • Monitor the program and report the status to management on a regular basis.
  • Work with BU specific service organization to help them understand forecast and staffing requirements
  • Develop content and present BU specific input for monthly/quarterly/annual business reviews
  • Hold monthly program steering committee meetings to review status, risk, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure workflow delineation between front end (commercial), engineering (technical) & project management teams (execution).
  • Main point of escalation for all BU specific execution issues (both internally & externally)
  • Work with manufacturing to validate capacity for customer forecast
  • Hold bi-weekly 1 on 1’s with project managers as “check-in’s”
  • Hold weekly BU execution team meetings to have high level reviews of projects and another check-in point

Benefits

  • For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $117,600.00 - $176,400.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
