Position Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing multiple related projects within a strategic program to ensure alignment with organizational goals and successful delivery of outcomes. This role provides leadership, coordination, governance, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams to deliver value on time, within scope, and within budget. The Program Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for program performance, risk management, financial oversight, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project or program management
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe, Waterfall)
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
  • Experience in CMS environments
  • Experience managing government or highly regulated programs (if applicable)

Responsibilities

  • Define program vision, objectives, scope, and success metrics aligned with organizational strategy
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive program roadmap
  • Ensure alignment between projects and broader business goals
  • Lead program governance and decision-making processes
  • Oversee multiple interrelated projects and project managers
  • Monitor program timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables
  • Identify dependencies and manage cross-project risks
  • Ensure consistent application of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Serve as primary liaison between executive leadership, clients, and delivery teams
  • Provide clear, consistent communication on program status, risks, and outcomes
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive reviews
  • Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction
  • Develop and manage program budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources across projects
  • Track program financial performance and identify cost efficiencies
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Implement quality assurance and performance monitoring processes
  • Lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project managers
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
