Job Description: If you're hungry to leverage your program management skills to support Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and help protect our national security, we have the perfect position for you! Program Managers at Parsons provide overall direction and manage projects ensuring on-schedule completion in accordance with contractual obligations and program budget. Imagine Next with Parsons! What You'll Be Doing: Support DCO by using your skills to enhance the delivery and support of cyber hunt kits Providing direction and managing a pivotal mission to help innovate and deliver future technologies to ensure a bright future for our armed forces Oversee engineering efforts for advanced cyber hunt kits that are deployed across the Department of Defense, preserving and protecting our nation's most critical systems. Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions Mobilize company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work Identify, manager and work with key personnel to ensure the execution of project Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors Devise and implement action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of changes Markets and secures additional work with client Provides input on performance reviews and development plans for team members Promotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes Monitors and reports to leadership and stakeholders the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution Occasional travel (CONUS or OCONUS) for events with our end customers at their locations

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance required for consideration
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Business, etc.
  • 10+ years of related experience; additional professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Effective program management skills with ability to demonstrate successful project execution in the areas of business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
  • Knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on project

Responsibilities
