About The Position

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a full-time Program Manager under Hll's Decisive Mission Actions and Technology Services (DMATS) task order. This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe. The Program Manager's responsibilities include coordinating and completing tasks on time and within budget and scope. Oversees all aspects of onsite project personnel. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and summarizes progress of projects in compliance with all task order deliverables. Prepares reports for government customers and Program Managers regarding the project's status. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesOversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Ability to possess and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing projects under an Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) award fee Task Order
  • Recent experience overseeing
  • Familiarity with Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) communication protocols, reporting structures, and organizational structure
  • Sound understanding of AFSOC Systems, Technology & Interoperability Standards (STIS) documents and their utilization supporting Air Force Special Tactics projects
  • Experience overseeing Information Technology integration projects utilizing the STIS Development & Engineering (D&E) standards and processes
  • Working knowledge of Air Force Life Cycle Management Command (AFLCMC) acquisition processes as they relate to rapid Integration Assessment and Evaluation (IA&E) events
  • Experience using Smartsheet as a collaborative cloud based work management tool; specifically budget and resource tracking, workflows, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Produce quality, on-time deliverables per the DMATS Task Order.
  • Review status of projects and budget; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving.
  • Serve as the company's primary point of contact for project-related items and appropriately manage personnel, performance, scope, schedule, and budget matters for the company's contract support team.
  • Provide overall technical and financial management of tasks and milestones associated with contractual agreements.
  • Evaluate the progression of project milestones and budget and modify work as applicable to ensure overall project quality, schedule, and budget are being attained.
  • Regularly engage with key government client stakeholders.
  • Develop monthly status reports and monthly performance reports detailing work performed, schedule of activities, issues/concerns, and benefits to the customer's mission.
  • Strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with a functionally diverse team.
  • Strong working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
