About The Position

The Program Manager monitors, supervises, and coordinates the delivery of quality clinical services for the cardiology program. The role oversees program development and service delivery, maintains delegated budget and operational responsibilities, and supports a multidisciplinary team and cardiology service line. The position is based at RGH Sands Constellation Heart Institute in Brighton, Rochester, New York, within SCHI Ambulatory Services. The schedule is 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a field related to the assigned area is preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the program meets consumer needs through ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of plans.
• Monitor weekly and monthly progress toward annual budgeted visit targets and keep delegated program expenses within budget limits.
• Develop and implement plans for staff recruitment, hiring, orientation, and ongoing development to maintain continuity and quality of services.
• Ensure program policies and procedures comply with regulatory and hospital standards, and that staff understand and consistently follow them.
• Manage day-to-day program operations, including conducting meetings, leading quality improvement, promoting open communication, and resolving concerns raised by consumers and staff.
• Ensure effective communication within the program, department, hospital, and community.
• Participate in the peer review process and use quality improvement measures to increase quality and reduce cost.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
