About The Position

Trissential is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to partner with a large enterprise client located in the Greater Milwaukee, WI area. This is a full-time, hybrid engagement, requiring up to 3 days per week onsite. The role is focused on leading a high-impact Workforce Time Entry initiative, specifically supporting plant and field workers. This position is described as visible and outcome-driven, where the successful candidate's leadership, governance expertise, and change management skills will directly influence how work is performed at scale within the organization. The ideal candidate enjoys owning complex programs end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional leaders, and delivering tangible business value. The role offers enterprise-scale impact by leading a workforce-critical initiative that affects plant, warehouse, and field employees. It provides strategic ownership with full accountability from planning through deployment and operational transition. The hybrid flexibility allows for a balance between onsite collaboration and remote focus time. There is executive visibility through close partnership with PMO leadership and senior stakeholders, and opportunities for professional growth by applying both Agile and Waterfall methodologies within a mature PMO environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Program or Project Management experience within complex IT and business environments
  • Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, scope, and resources across full project lifecycles
  • Strong working knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum delivery frameworks
  • Hands‑on experience with PMI foundational standards (PMBOK)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Project Web App (PWA)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to a single set of agreed‑upon priorities and requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with time tracking, work order, warehouse, or field workforce applications
  • Strong Organizational Change Management experience at all organizational levels
  • Familiarity with SAP financial and project reporting
  • Experience navigating enterprise IT financial and services governance models
  • Human Capital Management (HCM) system deployment experience
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Own the program from initiation through successful closure, ensuring alignment to business and IT outcomes
  • Lead design, build, test, change management, deployment, and support transition activities
  • Manage program scope, budget, timeline, resources, and quality across multiple workstreams
  • Identify, log, manage, and resolve risks and issues; escalate program‑level items to the PMO as required
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance models, and project management methodologies
  • Partner with business and technical leads to develop and maintain detailed work plans and milestones
  • Coordinate cross‑team dependencies, integration topics, and resolution of complex issues
  • Drive scope change requests through defined governance and approval processes
  • Facilitate project team meetings, stakeholder updates, and weekly status reporting
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and quality performance across delivery teams
  • Foster strong collaboration, accountability, and engagement within the project team
  • Ensure operational readiness and a smooth transition into steady‑state support
  • Complete project closure activities, including lessons learned and artifact archiving
