About The Position

Manage Program(s) in accordance with Regulatory and/or Industry requirements to assure that plant equipment and processes are fully capable of performing intended functions. Assure compliance with regulatory commitments, if applicable. The Program Coordinator also addresses emerging industry and/or regulatory issues pertaining to assigned program(s).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and eight years of maintenance and/or engineering program coordination experience within an industrial facility; OR a high school diploma or GED and twelve years of maintenance and/or engineering experience, of which eight must be in program coordination within an industrial facility (for Technical Services III).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and five years of maintenance and/or engineering experience in program coordination within an industrial facility; OR a high school diploma or GED and nine years of maintenance and/or engineering experience, of which five years must be in program coordination within an industrial facility (for Technical Services II).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and three years of maintenance and/or engineering experience in program coordination within an industrial facility; OR a high school diploma or GED and seven years of maintenance and/or engineering experience, of which three years must be in program coordination within an industrial facility (for Technical Services I).
• Ability to work onsite in Richland, WA.

Responsibilities

• Manages complex Program aspects for short and long term health of plant components and/or processes.
• Establishes an implementation plan for the Program and obtains approval from impacted groups to signify support for the plan.
• Assures Program schedules are developed and maintained. Assures proper progress and focus through frequent interface with functional groups charged with executing the Program.
• Provide leadership of small groups to resolve complex issues requiring advanced technological skills.
• Provide technical direction and leadership routinely to other engineers involved with the program; serve as a mentor. Provide training to others.
• Participate in industry working groups and other discipline related activities.
• Identify potential problems in design, quality, or operation and initiate corrective action in accordance with plant CR process.
