It encompasses both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development, including supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and guiding key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. The role involves developing in-depth knowledge within a discipline, applying prior experience and expertise to execute functional policy/strategy, and communicating design and coordination services to colleagues and the business. Responsibilities also include providing guidance to new team members, explaining complex information clearly, and impacting projects, processes, and procedures within the field. The role operates with some autonomy, focusing on executing activities and providing advice within standard functional practices, requiring professional judgment, technical expertise, and analytical thinking to solve problems, potentially leveraging internal sources outside the immediate team.
