About The Position

This role drives quality for assigned suppliers, including the implementation of quality plans. It involves executing project management for complex new product introductions related to supplier management activities and selecting suppliers through qualification processes. The individual will own supplier results, driving improvements using supplier scorecards, and manage supplier audits to ensure compliance and implement improvement plans. The position requires an in-depth understanding of key business drivers and how the team's work integrates with other teams. It encompasses both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development, including supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and guiding key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. The role involves developing in-depth knowledge within a discipline, applying prior experience and expertise to execute functional policy/strategy, and communicating design and coordination services to colleagues and the business. Responsibilities also include providing guidance to new team members, explaining complex information clearly, and impacting projects, processes, and procedures within the field. The role operates with some autonomy, focusing on executing activities and providing advice within standard functional practices, requiring professional judgment, technical expertise, and analytical thinking to solve problems, potentially leveraging internal sources outside the immediate team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline (or non-technical degree with 6+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance experience, or an Associate's Degree with 8+ years of manufacturing, engineering, or quality assurance experience).
  • 6+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheet development and analysis.
  • Effective problem solving, root-cause analytical skills to lead and influence others to drive change (cross-functionally and globally).
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable).
