About The Position

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The Project Manager is responsible for strategic coordination and execution to ensure organizational goals are met by managing projects, policies, and initiatives effectively. They will act as a bridge between leadership and operational teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance.
Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management, systems engineering, and federal acquisition requirements.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail; ability to multitask.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field.
5+ years in a similar role.
In defense sectors, 5–10 years in DoD/IC or related environments.
Ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
PMP, CAPM or other relevant credentials not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets.
Develop, coordinate, and execute short- and long-term plans; provide guidance on policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Serve as a liaison between departments and external partners to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulations, and procedures.
Assist in crisis management and contingency planning.
