About The Position

We are looking for a Program Manager to lead a portfolio of complex, high-visibility new product development projects that encompass Hardware, Embedded Software, and Software solutions. In this role, you will report to the PMO Program Manager and will not have direct managerial responsibilities. You will connect Portfolio Strategy to program execution, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your responsibilities include translating strategic goals into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, collaborating with business teams to define investment scope and business cases, and working with engineering teams to evaluate business demand and required capacity/capability to deliver the portfolio roadmap. You will also collaborate with execution leadership across Project Management, Product Management, and Engineering Management to monitor execution status and maintain the portfolio roadmap. As a Program Manager, you will maintain budgets, track actuals, and manage change, acting as a change agent to influence the organization to deliver outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in project, program or portfolio management.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies.
  • High proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Jira Align, MS Project).
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Portfolio/Program Management expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of programs.
  • Establish and Maintain program roadmaps, including dependencies, capacity assumptions, and release content plans.
  • Facilitate operating cadence and governance rhythm for portfolio reviews/intake/syncs and strategic reviews.
  • Establish investment budgets for Annual Operating planning.
  • Track and manage portfolio/program budgets and forecasting.
  • Produce program-level reporting and provide stakeholder management communications.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks and issues that may impact program/portfolio success.
  • Champion Lean Portfolio Management best practices, tools, and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
