About The Position

This role supports Department of Defense (DoD) contracts, focusing on DoD acquisitions and contract strategy. The Program Manager will work closely with DoD clients to support the warfighter by aiding in the acquisition of capability to meet mission objectives. The position involves leading a team of experts and serving as a liaison to the Government client, making a direct impact on critical Space Force programs. Responsibilities include managing programs and technical projects, overseeing performance, cost, schedule, and risk, and orchestrating the development, coordination, and closure of acquisition and contract documentation. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, contract management, and business operations
  • 4+ years of experience in program management, including making decisions or recommendations for cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs
  • Experience with identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, and opportunities, and managing handling plans
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work collaboratively, independently demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks, and learn and solve problems quickly and creatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of experience planning and executing cloud infrastructure programs
  • Experience with complex DoD acquisition, systems engineering, digital transformation, or cloud modernization programs
  • Experience with IL4, IL5, or IL6 environments, including classified and disconnected environments
  • Experience with working with DoD space, SATCOM or satellite ground systems
  • Experience with Agile tools, including Jira and Confluence
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
