About The Position

This role requires current acquisition and program management knowledge and experience supporting aircraft weapon systems, with a preference for DoD aircraft weapon systems. The position involves managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk. Responsibilities include a wide range of program management activities such as data gathering, analysis, evaluation, and validation of acquisition programmatic documentation. The role requires balancing factors influencing cost, schedule, and performance, including organizational and financial goals, risk management, schedule management, project integration, financial management, and the ability to integrate functions for acquisition management according to DoD 5000 and AFI 63-101/20-101. The contractor will also develop pre- and post-award documentation and assist with milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination, and decision documentation.

Requirements

  • Current acquisition and program management knowledge and experience in support of aircraft weapon systems.
  • Experience managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
  • Current knowledge and working experience of a wide variety of acquisition program support activities.
  • Skills in developing pre- and post-award documentation.
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline, five years of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
  • OR, Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
  • OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
