About The Position

Must have current acquisition and program management knowledge and experience in support of aircraft weapon systems, DoD aircraft weapon systems are preferred, to include experience in managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk. These personnel will also have a current knowledge and working experience of a wide variety of acquisition program support activities to assist in performing a wide range of program management activities to include assistance in gathering data, conducting analyses, evaluation, and validation of acquisition programmatic documentation. These activities balance many factors influencing cost, schedule, and performance to include, but are not limited to, meeting organizational goals, meeting financial goals, risk management, schedule management, project(s) integration, financial management, and the ability to integrate the separate functions to plan and implement acquisition management according to DoD 5000 and AFI 63-101/20-101. The Contractor must have skills in developing pre- and post-award documentation and will assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination, and decision documentation.

Requirements

• Current acquisition and program management knowledge and experience in support of aircraft weapon systems.
• Experience managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
• Current knowledge and working experience of a wide variety of acquisition program support activities.
• Skills in developing pre- and post-award documentation.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
• OR, bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.
• OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD or other USG ISR/SOF Organizations.

Nice To Haves

• DoD aircraft weapon systems experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
• Gathering data, conducting analyses, evaluation, and validation of acquisition programmatic documentation.
• Balancing factors influencing cost, schedule, and performance, including organizational and financial goals, risk management, schedule management, project integration, and financial management.
• Integrating separate functions to plan and implement acquisition management according to DoD 5000 and AFI 63-101/20-101.
• Developing pre- and post-award documentation.
• Assisting in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination, and decision documentation.
