This role will cover territory East of Cascades including locations: Yakima Memorial Hospital Off Campus Emergency Departments MultiCare Clinics Deaconess Hospital Valley Medical Center Position Summary The Program Manager, Regional Compliance will execute the MultiCare Compliance & Ethics Program (CEP) at assigned business units. The individual will collaborate with regional leaders and team members to provide guidance for regulatory matters, support compliance/ privacy training and education needs; and internal/ external reviews, investigations and audits. The Program Manager will support predictive risk management with a focus on business enablement and value creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Graduate degree in business, finance, healthcare management or related field or advanced certification preferred
  • CHC or CHPC (Certified in HealthCare Compliance) certification required
  • Minimum six (6) years of professional experience in Health care (Accounting, Finance, Compliance, Auditing, or Coding)
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity

Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or maintain knowledge of laws, rules and regulations that govern the services provided by the respective business units.
  • Ensure compliance, privacy and civil rights education/ training requirements are met. In collaboration with the Corporate team, deliver ad-hoc training requests, as needed.
  • Oversee the regional response to conflict-of-interest concerns and the CEP risk assessment process. Develop management action plans as needed.
  • Coordinate compliance and privacy reviews (internal and external); identify gaps and opportunities; and collaborate with leadership on resolution plans.
  • At the direction of the 1557 Coordinator, ensure the regional business units adhere to the organization’s policies and procedures covering civil rights and non-discrimination.
  • Represent the CEP at all operational and workforce meetings, as appropriate.
