About The Position

Manages aspects of program implementation and operations. Ensures program is operating effectively. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and our Oakland, Concord, Sacramento, or Fresno, CA office approximately 1 day per week, or more, based on business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• 10 years Job-related experience

• Fiber optics project management and construction
• Working with cross-functional departments including IT/Electric Ops/Land and Environmental
• Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
• PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification

Responsibilities

• Leads cross functional projects or teams
• Identifies new partners, technologies, and delivery channels
• Develops and manages department expense budget. Regularly monitors expenses against forecast, providing explanation or justification for budget items and/or variances.
• Communicates project status to all stakeholders.
• Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced colleagues
• Presents findings and makes recommendations to management
• Works with all levels of management and senior leadership across functions to influence decisions
