About The Position

Signet Health, a national behavioral health management company, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Manager to join our team at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center in Clinton, Maryland. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed behavioral health professional who is passionate about crisis intervention, patient-centered care, and program development. Reporting to the Director of Social Work Services, the PHP Manager provides clinical oversight and supervision while supporting individuals who require a higher level of care than traditional outpatient treatment can provide. The program also serves as a step-down level of care for patients transitioning from inpatient psychiatric treatment and at risk for readmission. As a key member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while helping guide and grow a vital behavioral health service. Candidates must possess and maintain an active Maryland license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) or a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).

Requirements

  • Active Maryland licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Nice To Haves

  • Partial Hospitalization Program management experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in adult psychiatry, substance use treatment, and crisis assessment in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems required; experience with Cerner MedConnect or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to PHP staff.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
  • Maintain clinical records, assessments, treatment plans, and authorizations in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a liaison among patients, families, physicians, and treatment team members.
  • Oversee daily program operations and ensure quality patient care and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community providers and referral sources.
  • Support program growth through outreach and community engagement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
