The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services seeks a dynamic, results-oriented manager to serve as the Program Manager for the Office of Charitable Gaming within the Division of Consumer Protection. The program is charged with promoting the integrity of charitable gaming activities in the Commonwealth. This position is responsible for overseeing the issuing and renewing of charitable gaming permits and registrations, as well as the regulation of charitable gaming activities in the Commonwealth. The position oversees the on-site inspection of qualified organizations and compliance audits of the activities of permitted entities. Program services include the regulation of qualified organizations; investigation of allegations of fraud, deception, and illegal practices; administration of all laws, regulations, agreements and directives assigned by the Legislature, the Executive Branch and the Commissioner, as delegated by the Deputy Commissioner, and the Director's Office. Once onboarded, this position may be eligible for telework opportunities; availability, hours, and duration of telework shall be approved as outlined in the Commonwealth’s telework policy.
