The Program Manager, NMDoH is a program leader in Waco Family Medicine’s Health Impact Division. The Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations, performance and growth of the following programs: Food is Medicine Education (Kelley Teaching Kitchen): Provides hands-on nutrition education and culinary skills training to healthy lifestyle behaviors and enhance patient engagement with primary care. Wellness Center (Exercise Rx): Provides evidence-based and personalized physical activity programs to improve health outcomes, support the prevention and management of chronic conditions, and enhance engagement with primary care. Lifestyle Medicine Shared Medical Appointments: Group medical visits that combine individual clinical care, hands-on patient education and culinary/exercise skill-building, and peer support for patients with similar health conditions. Under the leadership of the Director, the Program Manager applies organization and divisional vision to create clear workflows and measurable outcomes. The Program Manager is responsible for continued program growth and reach, ensuring programs are effective, equitable, and responsive to community needs. This is a grant-funded position with funding secured through June 30, 2027. The position may be extended based on continued funding and employee performance.
