About The Position

This position is responsible for the strategic integration of IT infrastructure within the University’s capital construction and renovation projects. The Program Manager ensures that technology requirements, including networking, audiovisual systems, and physical security, are integrated into architectural designs from inception to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of practical experience in IT program management with a focus on physical infrastructure or construction coordination.
  • Proficiency in reading construction drawings (Bluebeam/AutoCAD) and knowledge of BICSI/TIA standards.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification and/or RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT workstreams for campus construction and renovation projects.
  • Review architectural blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure IT spatial and cabling requirements are met.
  • Manage relationships and performance of low-voltage contractors and AV integrators.
  • Coordinate with Facilities Management and MEP teams to align power and cooling with IT needs.
  • Oversee IT project budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with University goals.
