About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R) to lead large, complex supply chain transformation programs for a leading retail and supply chain organization. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Inventory Planning & Replenishment, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Safety Stock, Service Levels, and Supply Chain Planning, combined with a proven track record of managing large, multi-workstream programs involving business and technology teams. This is not a traditional single-project Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will have owned complex programs involving multiple projects, workstreams, business functions, technology teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Program Management, Supply Chain Transformation, or related roles.
  • Deep Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R) expertise.
  • Hands-on understanding of: Inventory Planning, Replenishment, Demand Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, Safety Stock, Service Levels, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Policies, Ordering Parameters.
  • Proven experience leading large, complex, multi-workstream programs involving multiple business functions and technology teams.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Merchandising, Procurement, Operations, IT, Data, and Business Leadership.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning and inventory management processes.
  • Proven ability to manage program roadmaps, governance, budgets, risks, dependencies, resources, and executive communications.
  • Direct experience leading an IP&R / Supply Chain Planning system implementation, transformation, or major enhancement.
  • Experience owning the full implementation lifecycle, including: Requirements, Solution Design, Development, Testing, UAT, Deployment, Change Management, Post-Go-Live Stabilization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent executive communication, leadership, influencing, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.

  • Experience with one or more enterprise Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, or Replenishment platforms, including: RELEX, Blue Yonder / JDA, SAP IBP / SAP APO, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, Manhattan Planning Solutions, Oracle Retail Planning, Logility, Other enterprise Inventory Planning, Replenishment, Demand Planning, or Supply Chain Planning platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Inventory Planning & Replenishment (IP&R) and Supply Chain Planning programs from strategy and initiation through implementation, stabilization, and benefits realization.
  • Own program roadmaps, objectives, governance, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, and overall delivery outcomes.
  • Lead multiple interconnected workstreams across Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Merchandining, Procurement, Operations, IT, Data, and Business teams.
  • Drive programs focused on: Inventory optimization, Demand forecasting, Replenishment, Service-level improvement, Inventory availability, Safety stock optimization, Supply chain transformation.
  • Translate supply chain strategy and business objectives into actionable program roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Partner with business and technology leadership to define scope, requirements, solution priorities, success metrics, and implementation strategies.
  • Manage interdependencies across projects and workstreams and proactively resolve risks and issues.
  • Drive improvements across inventory planning and replenishment processes, including: Ordering parameters, Safety stock, Inventory policies, Item/location setup, Replenishment strategies, Planning processes.
  • Lead the complete implementation lifecycle: Requirements → Solution Design → Development → Testing → UAT → Deployment → Change Management → Post-Go-Live Stabilization.
  • Establish and monitor program KPIs such as: Forecast accuracy, Service levels, Inventory turns, Stock availability, Inventory levels, Replenishment performance, Working capital.
  • Lead steering committees, executive reviews, governance meetings, and program status reporting.
  • Manage program risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, budgets, resources, and constraints.
  • Drive organizational change management, business readiness, training, and adoption.
  • Partner with Supply Chain leadership to identify opportunities for standardization, automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage external vendors, implementation partners, and technology providers.
  • Ensure successful transition of new capabilities into business-as-usual operations and track business benefits.
