As a Program Manager III within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX; or Birmingham, AL. The Program Manager III will lead strategic Enterprise Capabilities initiatives across PNC, with a primary focus on designing, developing, and executing programs that consolidate distributed capabilities into enterprise-owned solutions and utilities. This role is responsible for advancing enterprise operating models by driving standardization, scalability, governance, and organizational efficiency across corporate functions, with a strong emphasis on Risk and enterprise transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a senior program leader, partnering with executive stakeholders to define strategy, drive capability consolidation efforts, and deliver complex, cross-functional programs with enterprise-wide impact. This individual will bring deep experience in enterprise communications, organizational change, operating model transformation, and large-scale program execution, coupled with the ability to influence outcomes across highly matrixed organizations.

Requirements

Program management, strategic transformation, or enterprise change management experience, preferably within financial services or another highly regulated industry.
Proven track record leading large-scale, enterprise-wide programs with significant organizational impact.
Extensive experience driving capability consolidation, operating model transformation, shared services initiatives, or enterprise utility development.
Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional programs spanning business, technology, risk, and operations organizations.
Strong expertise in enterprise communications, executive reporting, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change management.
Experience partnering with and influencing senior executives and enterprise-level decision makers.
Knowledge of Risk Management, Corporate Functions, Enterprise Technology, or related domains.
Advanced experience managing program governance, risk mitigation, budget oversight, and strategic planning activities.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience utilizing Jira and related delivery tools.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Experience supporting enterprise transformation, operating model design, and large-scale organizational change initiatives.
Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategic planning, execution, and governance of enterprise-wide programs focused on consolidating capabilities into centralized, enterprise-owned solutions and utilities.
Drive the design and implementation of enterprise operating models that standardize processes, tools, technologies, and capabilities across business and corporate functions.
Develop and execute multi-year strategies to transform fragmented capabilities into scalable, enterprise-wide solutions that improve efficiency, reduce duplication, and enhance governance.
Partner with senior leaders across Risk, Technology, Operations, and Corporate Functions to identify opportunities for capability consolidation and enterprise optimization.
Establish and lead comprehensive enterprise communication strategies that drive stakeholder alignment, transparency, organizational readiness, and executive engagement.
Provide strategic recommendations, executive-level reporting, and program updates to senior leadership, operating committees, and executive stakeholders.
Lead complex program governance frameworks, including risk management, dependency management, issue resolution, and performance measurement.
Influence strategic decision-making by providing insights, analysis, and recommendations related to enterprise capability development and utility adoption.
Drive organizational change management activities to support successful implementation and adoption of enterprise capabilities.
Facilitate collaboration across business, technology, risk, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic objectives.
Champion Agile delivery practices while ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and control requirements.
Continuously refine program frameworks, operating models, and messaging to support evolving Enterprise Capabilities strategies and organizational priorities.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior program managers and project teams while promoting program management best practices across the organization.
Leads a cross functional program/project team to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy.
Leads the highest complexity programs/projects requiring extensive planning, oversight, and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business.
Manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals.
Oversight and reporting for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program.
Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results.
Acts as a mentor to other program managers.
Teams with service partner leadership to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels.
