As a Program Manager II within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AZ or Miamisburg, OH. Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technology Program Manager II to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic technology outcomes within the Retail Lending portfolio. This role is responsible for managing complex programs across multiple project teams, ensuring alignment with business goals, and delivering value through structured planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement. Job Description Leads a cross functional program/project team to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. Leads complex programs/projects requiring planning, oversight, and communication across multiple segments, channels, or lines of business. Typically, program size may reach or exceed $25m. Manages the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; influences project decisions to achieve overall program goals. Oversight and reporting for the program budget while working to ensure success of the program. Evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements to programs based on results. Teams with service partners to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management within a technology environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional technology programs preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and DevOps practices preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Senior and Executive Leadership expectations and concerns preferred.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Clarizen, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project preferred.
  • Ability to lead (influence without authority and drive consensus across diverse teams) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program management for technology initiatives, including planning, execution, delivery, and post-implementation review.
  • Collaborate with Technology, PMO, Line of Business and Risk stakeholders to define program scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues across projects and teams.
  • Communicate program status, milestones, and outcomes to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams.
  • Leads a cross functional program/project team to ensure the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy.
