The New York Times is looking for a Program Manager II for its Platforms & Growth portfolio. Platforms exist to provide the power and efficiency of the enterprise, empowering product and feature teams to build and iterate quickly. Our products are used by millions of passionate and engaged users every day and our strategy of providing journalism worth paying for has helped us grow our digital subscription and advertising businesses at the same time. As a Program Manager II, you will manage the lifecycle of key initiatives. Program managers are core to the delivery of our work and are expected to identify issues, suggest and guide solutions, and help negotiate scope or timelines to advance the work. You will orchestrate this by working with partners and software development teams in different ways, from developing a delivery plan, identifying initiative milestones, managing cross-team dependencies and establishing operating models for initiatives.
