WHY BOX NEEDS YOU Box is the leader in Intelligent Content Management, empowering 115K+ organizations to protect data, fuel collaboration, and power critical workflows with secure, enterprise AI. As we scale, operational excellence across our G&A functions is vital. We’re hiring a Program Manager to lead cross-functional programs that streamline how Box operates across Legal, People, Finance, Compliance, and IT. You’ll manage a portfolio of 3–4 initiatives, bring clarity to ambiguity, and drive measurable outcomes through strong governance, crisp communication, and a bias for action. Box is a hybrid workplace where in-person collaboration is core to our culture. This role is tied to our Redwood City HQ.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of program/project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously with strong governance and execution discipline.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication; comfortable influencing and pushing back.
  • Skilled in creating program structure from ambiguity with measurable outcomes and clear accountability.
  • Hands-on experience with Smartsheet and JIRA; strong proficiency with Box.
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented with the ability to simplify complexity for diverse audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; PMP or similar is a plus.
  • Tech/SaaS or G&A operations experience preferred; passion for improving how work gets done

  • Boxers are expected to work from their assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic cross-functional programs that span G&A, Legal, People Ops, Finance, and IT.
  • Stand up and run governance (cadence, decisions, risks/issues/dependencies), escalating to leaders when needed.
  • Build and maintain program artifacts: charters, success metrics, plans, RAID logs, and status dashboards.
  • Drive process and operational initiatives to use AI to amplify outcomes for Box
  • Translate complex, cross-functional updates into clear, executive-ready narratives and visuals.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders, influence priorities, and alignment? constructively to protect outcomes and timelines.
  • Leverage Smartsheet, JIRA, and Box for standardized planning, reporting, and portfolio visibility.
  • Identify and remove blockers proactively; track impact through data and continuous improvement
