Program Manager - Growth Sites - E2E Inventory & Materials

Eaton CorporationRaleigh, NC
$146,000 - $215,000Onsite

About The Position

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking an expert-level Senior Program Manager with broad experience in program management. This position can sit out of one of the following locations: Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC. The expected annual salary range for this role is $146000 - $215000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. This role sits within IT Operations & Enterprise PMO, providing the operating backbone for how we organize work to support Eaton's Key Growth Sites. This role is responsible for organizing and scaling our operating model across our Key Strategic Growth (KSG) sites (i.e. Asheville → El Paso 2 → Greenwood → Omaha). The Senior Program Manager owns the end-to-end End-to-End Inventory & Materials Management value stream (Plan → Inventory → Warehouse → Fulfillment) across these sites — one roadmap, one KPI set, one outcome story — scaling proven solutions site to site rather than running each site as standalone project work.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in program management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of program management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood, OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in program management (e.g., PMP, PgMP).
  • Manufacturing/operations IT delivery; end-to-end materials-management understanding (plan → inventory → warehouse → fulfillment).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP (Mapics/iSeries or equivalent), inventory/warehouse management, and supply/demand planning.
  • Continuous-improvement fluency — A3/DMAIC, value-stream mapping, lean/EBS, root-cause problem solving.
  • Tech-savvy and AI-first — efficient with modern AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to accelerate analysis, documentation, and delivery.
  • Demonstrated multi-site deployment and scaling of a proven solution across plants.
  • Strong communications skills, able to work on a matrix organization; comfortable working with and coordinating cross-functional teams. Work under pressure. Results driven. Influencer. Pragmatic. Able to simplify complex information translating into business terms

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program plans and strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage complex program activities, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with the CI, digital, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of program initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide support and guidance to team members to help them achieve program objectives.
  • Communicate program initiatives and their impact to all stakeholders effectively.
  • Drive one outcome story across the Plan → Inventory → Warehouse → Fulfillment roadmap, milestones, and KPI performance across all the growth sites, rather than site-by-site execution.
  • Partner with CI and Digital (IT) delivery teams to organize the work to deliver the materials digital backbone — ERP/MRP (Mapics/iSeries), inventory and warehouse management, and supply/demand planning. Leverage key resource teams such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, and Integrated Ops to drive outcomes (IT delivers the digital backbone; Integrated Ops defines the process).
  • Plan out the forward-deployment plan for where we take a capability next, in partnership with capability owners and BRMs.
  • Ensure our teams create repeatable standard work so it can be scaled to prioritized growth sites; manage cross-site sequencing and dependencies.
  • Partner in the operating model — BRMs own funding, business prioritization, and benefit realization; CI designs the process improvements; and site leads deploy and sustain. You own coordination, delivery, KPI attainment, and the dependencies between them.
  • Track business value and benefit realization (roadmap readiness, inventory accuracy, fill rate, on-time fulfillment); communicate via monthly steering committees and report progress and risk on the joint business and IT leadership cadence.
