Requirements

  • 8+ Years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management).
  • Previous leadership experience in a teaming environment.
  • Previous professional experience with acquisition policies and procedures as well as Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) guidelines.
  • Previous professional experience with procurement and subcontract management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense Industry.
  • Able to travel (~30%)
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance.
  • Must successfully pass a drug and background check.

  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional Integrated Product Teams and/or Supplier Management Teams
  • Business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions
  • Demonstrated Risk Management experience
  • Leadership skills displaying attributes of Full Spectrum Leadership
  • Negotiation Experience
  • Experience with LM P2P (SAP buying system) and Lockheed Martin Aquisition Policies (LMAP)
  • Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM)
  • Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of subcontract managers and administrators through the execution of their requirements.
  • Direct daily interaction with the program management team.
  • Interfacing with key cross-functional directors and senior managers.
  • Responsibility for supplier performance in terms of cost, schedule and technical requirements to meet the internal plans of the Program and ultimately the requirements of the end user, the warfighter.
  • Accountability for a variety of metrics to support program requirements.
  • Shaping and developing the career goals and paths of the team.
  • Supporting supplier negotiations.
  • Supporting program cost and schedule goals/requirements.
