Program Manager, Dept of Spiritual Care and Education Mount Sinai Hospital
About The Position
Reporting to the Senior Director of Spiritual Care for MSHS, the Program Manager provides operational, administrative, and program management support for the Department of Spiritual Care and Education at The Mount Sinai Hospital, with defined responsibilities that support spiritual care services across the Mount Sinai Health System. Based at MSH, the Program Manager leads and coordinates key spiritual care functions, including but not limited to coverage and scheduling; the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program; staff support initiatives for hospital employees; onboarding of staff, students, and volunteers; cross-departmental partnerships; data and reporting activities; and vendor and contract management. The role contributes to the design and maintenance of efficient operational workflows, supports regulatory and accreditation requirements for departmental programs, and helps promote timely, high-quality, and well-coordinated spiritual care services.
Requirements
- Operational, administrative, and program management support experience.
- Experience supporting spiritual care services.
- Experience leading and coordinating key functions such as coverage and scheduling.
- Experience managing educational programs (e.g., Clinical Pastoral Education).
- Experience with staff support initiatives.
