The Program Manager manages delivery across multiple teams and projects, coordinating teams and stakeholders across the organization. This role is accountable for the successful delivery of global initiatives. The role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of program plans aligned to organizational goals and technology roadmaps, partnering with business and technology teams to coordinate and sequence deliverables that maximize business value, maintaining roadmaps and delivery plans, and monitoring alignment of program priorities and budget commitments. The role also supports governance process and reporting requirements, drives disciplined execution of programs through standardized methodologies and delivery practices (agile, waterfall, and hybrid), prepares materials and facilitates program status meetings and stakeholder reviews, escalates risks, issues, and decisions through appropriate governance channels, and manages dependencies across multiple project teams, vendors, and business areas. Additionally, the Program Manager manages medium to large cross-functional initiatives supporting business transformation objectives, partners with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, and supports the adoption of new technologies and business process changes. The role assesses program resource requirements and collaborates with leadership to secure necessary staffing and funding, coordinates internal teams, external partners, and vendor resources, and promotes effective workforce planning and capacity management within and across teams and programs. Financial management includes tracking program budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, monitoring program costs, benefits, risks, and return on investment, and providing regular reporting on program progress and financial performance. Risk, dependency, and issue management involves proactively identifying and managing program risks, dependencies, and impediments, establishing mitigation plans and escalation paths, facilitating resolution of cross-functional issues that impact delivery, and ensuring transparency of risks and opportunities through governance channels. Stakeholder management and communication includes building productive relationships with technology and business stakeholders, communicating program milestones, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, supporting change management strategies that support adoption and business readiness, and translating technical concepts into business language and business objectives into actionable delivery plans.
