About The Position

Patricio Enterprises is hiring a Program Manager for the Capability Portfolio Manager, Intelligence & Spectrum Warfare systems engineering and technical assistance contract. The role involves managing cost, schedule, technical performance, and risks, while interfacing with Government Management to resolve problems and providing day-to-day direction and expert functional guidance to employees. The Program Manager will establish work priorities based on Government goals, act as an interface between the Government customer and Contractor, and distribute workload to ensure timely accomplishment. Additionally, the role includes providing on-the-job training to new employees, leading team assessments of strengths and weaknesses, and communicating assignments, problems, events, milestones, and timeframes to the team.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Defense of Defense acquisition.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage people and coordinate with stakeholders to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum 14 years’ experience managing government programs is required of which one (1) year must be supervisory.
  • Employees must be able to see and hear, read, and write effectively in English.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job.
  • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication.
  • Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the immediate work unit.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience managing government programs, of which one (1) year must be supervisory, is acceptable for candidates possessing a PMP certification.

Responsibilities

  • Manages cost, schedule, technical performance and risks.

  • Leads the team in assessing its strengths and weaknesses and provides leadership to the team in exploring alternatives and determining improvements.
  • Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, suspense's and time frames for completion.
  • Provides instruction and assistance as necessary on problems or issues.
