About The Position

Provides supervisory direction for the area wide Family Planning Program and department employees. Establishes goals and objectives, policies and procedures, prepares and administers the department budget and provides client and community education.   • Assist in staff hire/fire, disciplinary process.
  • Schedules staff to ensure that properly trained staff is available to provide quality resident care.
  • Assist in the development of the annual operating budget and capital budget.
  • Ensure that Department operations stay within operating and capital budgets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures as well as documentation forms in collaboration with appropriate Directors and/or Committees to promote current evidence-based practice in trauma care and in the delivery of nursing services to patients.
  • Counsels and Educates Family Planning clients in basic reproductive Healthcare.
  • All other duties as assigned.
